Scene & Heard Pro becomes multi-lingual with the new update!

Our latest update to Scene & Heard Pro improves how you access, manage, and personalise your Scene & Heard Pro app. 

New features:

More languages available, from the very start 

Scene & Heard Pro now supports a wider range of languages, including Arabic, Danish, Dutch, English, French, German, Hebrew, Portuguese, Spanish, and Swedish. The preferred language can be chosen when the app first opens, or later from a new Languages panel in Settings. 

The languages are fully supported within Scene and Heard Pro – meaning that when a language is selected, all menus and default content within the app, such as visual scenes or communication books, are altered to the same language too – simplifying editing and customising.  

We know language is personal. That’s why text-to-speech voices aren’t automatically assigned on language selection, instead you are guided to choose the voice that feels right. 

Manage all your audio in one place - A new Audio Recording Manager in Settings brings all your recordings together, making it easier to bulk record, reuse clips across scenes, and manage your audio library.

One place for audio, with more flexibility

We’ve introduced an Audio Recording Manager, bringing all recordings into one clear, shared library. This makes it easier for you to record in bulk, manage content, and reuse audio across different scenes. It’s something many users have been asking for, especially those digitising story books and we’re thrilled we can now offer this. 

Small changes that reduce effort 

You can now easily organise your content into the order which suits you, as folders, scenes, visual timetables, and communication books can now be reordered using simple up and down arrows.  

Representation that feels right

You can now choose skin tones for symbols within Settings. Representation matters, and this update supports more personal, respectful communication experiences. 

Gentle reminders, when they’re needed*

On iOS, Scene & Heard Pro now offers notifications for scheduled visual timetable scenes. These reminders rotate through five different messages and can be fully customised, or turned off, in Settings – supporting the user to keep on track with their day. 

Scene & Heard Pro is available as a subscription or lifetime version on AppStore and PlayStore and is a great addition to your intervention toolkit.
