Therapy Box is a technology company. We have specialist skills in working with technology for speech, language and acoustics.
The team seek to apply award winning innovations to help solve problems related to speech and language related disorders - from diagnosis through to compensatory aids. The first app, Predictable was launched in 2011 and is now available in 10 languages around the world and used by people to be able to communicate.
Who we are
The team is a multidisciplinary group of software engineers, designers, project managers and quality assurance testers. The small team works together to plan, design, develop and test apps for Therapy Box and for our clients and partners.
What we do
Therapy Box has experience in user requirement gathering and PPI, translating these needs into designs and prototypes and in developing and deploying technology for the AppStore, PlayStore, web or for testing environments. We work with collaborators across academic and clinical settings on projects, as technical partners for large research projects related to speech, language and cognition.
How it started
In 2011, Predictable was launched. Predictable was the result of understanding an unmet need for people who needed text-based communication aids. In the ten years that have followed, the app has grown to be available in 10 different versions for different territories and has won numerous awards.
It remains the driving force behind the team that strives to make communication easier for the people who use it.
