Apple’s latest iOS 26 update brings several accessibility improvements that can make using your iPad and Predictable even easier. Here’s what’s new:

1. Eye Tracking – Now with Face Pose Guidance

Previously, setting up Eye Tracking could be tricky. With iOS 26, Apple introduces Face Pose Guidance, providing visual cues and instructions to help you position your face correctly before Eye Tracking calibration. This makes it much faster and easier to get started.

2. Head Tracking – Simpler than Ever

Head Tracking has been around in earlier iOS versions, but it was hidden under Switch Control, making setup confusing. iOS 26 makes it straightforward: Head Tracking now appears as its own option in Accessibility settings, and you can enable it with a single switch.

3. Personal Voice – Quicker Setup and Spanish Language Availability

You can now create a natural-sounding synthetic voice with just ten short phrases—about a minute of recording. Once generated, this voice can be used with Live Speech and in Predictable.

Plus, Spanish (Mexico) is now supported, with more languages coming soon.

4. Share Accessibility Settings Across Devices

iOS 26 allows you to share your Accessibility settings across all Apple devices signed into your account. Once set up on one device, features like VoiceOver, Switch Control, Head Tracking, or Display adjustments automatically carry over to your other devices.
