Introducing a new way to access Predictable

Predictable has long supported people who need a reliable, flexible way to communicate. We are now introducing a new standalone subscription app on iOS, Predictable Flex - giving users another way to access the full Predictable experience.

Predictable Flex will offer a 30-day free trial, with no payment details required until the end of the trial. This gives individuals, families, schools and services time to explore the app and see whether it is the right fit for their communication needs.

What is included?

The iOS subscription app includes the same trusted Predictable features, so users can explore the full app rather than a limited version. Monthly and yearly subscription options are available. A lifetime purchase option for Predictable will continue to be available as well.

All supported Predictable languages will also be available in one app. This means users will not need separate apps for different languages. The login screen language can also be changed, helping more people get started in a language that works for them.

What this means for existing users

If you already have a lifetime Predictable licence, you should continue using your existing Predictable app. Lifetime users will not be able to log in to the new subscription app.

Subscription users can upgrade to the lifetime version should their needs change in the future.

Part of the PRC-Saltillo Community

Therapy Box apps are now part of the PRC-Saltillo Community, following the acquisition of Therapy Box apps in January 2026. This brings Predictable into a wider AAC community while continuing to support the communication tools that users know and trust.

What is Predictable Flex?

Will the Predictable lifetime version still be available.

Yes. Predictable Flex is intended to give you more options on how to access Predictable. The lifetime version is not being removed. It will remain available and it’s name is unchanged – Predictable.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. Users can start with a 30-day free trial, with no payment details required until the end of the trial.

Will the Predictable Flex have the same features as Predictable?

Yes. The subscription app includes the same features available in Predictable.

Which languages are included?

All of the same languages available in Predictable are included in the subscription app.

Can I change the login screen language?

Yes. The login screen language can be changed in the subscription app. This is a new feature.

Can lifetime users log in to the subscription app?

No. Existing lifetime users will not be able to log in to the subscription app. They should continue using their existing Predictable app.

Can subscription users upgrade to lifetime?

Yes. To do this, purchase Predictable (the lifetime version) then login with your Predictable login. All of your personalised vocabulary will then be visible in Predictable. 

Will there be separate apps for different languages?

No. We are releasing one subscription app for all supported languages, rather than separate language apps.

What are the price differences?

Monthly and yearly options are available. A monthly subscription is £9.99 a month and yearly subscription is £99.99.

Is Predictable Flex available on Android?

No. Predictable Flex is only available on iOS at this time.
